DIY Brown Sugar Face Scrub ( For All Skin Types)
Now that the weather is changing and the days are getter colder, my skin is starting to look dry and dull. I wanted to share with you guys an effective facial scrub recipe that works great for any skin type using brown sugar. Exfoliating with a sugar scrub removes dead skin cells and reveals new healthy skin. It also increases blood circulation, unclogs pores, moisturizes, and hydrates the skin. This homemade recipe is so easy to make, it consists of only 3 ingredients that you probably already own in your pantry, so let's begin...
BROWN SUGAR: Brown sugar is an excellent exfoliating agent as it's more gentle and safer on the skin than regular white sugar. It exfoliates dead skin cells and keeps your skin hydrated as it locks in moisture. Brown sugar naturally contains anti-bacterial properties and glycolic acid that fight against bacteria and keep your skin healthy.
VITAMIN E OIL: Vitamin E oil is known for nourishing and moisturizing the skin. It reduces inflammation and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles making your skin look younger.
CARRIER OIL: Carrier oils are plant-based oils that have been derived from kernels, nuts, and seeds of plants. These natural oils help moisturize, hydrate and heal the skin to keep it healthy. Pick an oil that works best for your skin type.
